No complaints at all. Probably the best place to eat in southern Islamorada. Authentic homemade food.. big portions and great pricec. Can’t beat that! Loved the ice-cold beer in a frozen glass. Heads up.. service charge is already included.

Authentic Flavors. Don’t come for the ambiance, but stay for the homemade cooking and sizable portions. Located in a fairly barren stretch of the Keys, stop in before you get to Duck Key. We had blackened scallops (excellent) and -oddly- the chicken stir fry. (None left on the plate). Fried sweet plantains (maduros) were perfectly crisp but juicy within. And the flan was delicious- made in house. Sweet, friendly waitress. We weren’t disappointed.

Great place to have a bite, not expensive, fast and friendly service. We had the pork options, all was good but the fried shredded pork was our favorite. Very good sweet plantains.

I brought fresh fish I caught today here. They cooked it all three different ways with 2 sides, all for 15 per person. The food was delicious, truly doesn’t get better than that.

very nice and pleasant place with cuban and sea food. I recommend as a stopover coming back from key west. I didn't drink all the cola and ate a cup for the journey to take with me on the next journey. not only did I get a travel cup but they also refilled my cup to full cola - very nice. I don't know if it's standard in the US like with coffee, but it was nice :) Additionally the best see view during easting

3/9/25–So, we just arrived in Key West at a house we rented as an emergency backup after the not-so-great one we originally booked through VRBO. Turns out, not everything that shines is gold! Thankfully, a friend recommended this new place, and my husband decided to take it. We drove two hours from Hollywood, Florida, and let me tell you—this house is superb. As if Jesus Himself put His signature on this new adventure, we discovered a Cuban restaurant just a short drive away. Naturally, one of the first things we did after unloading was check it out. The place was beautiful, with an amazing view. But since our house was so gorgeous (and we paid good money for it), we decided to order to-go and enjoy our meal there. I got a simple chicken soup, while my husband went for conch fritters (though I think they had a fancier name on the menu). I had a Fanta, and, of course, my husband had his all-important cafe con leche—because, let’s be real, Cubans know how to make coffee. Every single Cuban spot we've visited so far has served amazing coffee. While we waited, we watched other customers come in, some with dogs—small and big. The view of the boats and the ocean was stunning, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the people were friendly. Definitely a good start to this unexpected adventure!
